WE SUPPORT

HAND IN HAND

Hand in Hand is a Swedish NGO fighting poverty through sustainable entrepreneurship. With training, education and support, millions of women have started their own small businesses that have lifted themselves and their families out of poverty. Project Sunflower is a new investment focusing on women entrepreneurship in Kenya, with the goals to fight poverty, reduce hunger and enhance biodiversity. By supporting with micro-loans, small farmers are able to start their own businesses and start making their own living. The project is primarily focusing on women since studies have shown that women are more often reinvesting their money in their families. Sunflowers can withstand drought and thrives together with bees which have a significant part in the biodiversity. To derive sunflower oil from the plants is also a good way to substitute the imported palm oil. We have just started our collaboration with Hand in Hand hoping to improve for both women, society and nature.

  • For every "For Your Eyes Only" kit sold on our website, 20 SEK / € 2 will be donated to to Project Sunflower.
  • For every Solsken SPF 50 and SolstrÃ¥le SPF 2 sold during March - April 2023 at any of our retailers, 5 SEK / 50 cent will be donated to Project Sunflower.

WE SUPPORT

HER HOUSE FOUNDATION

The Her House Foundation was founded in April 2020. Her House Foundation aims to support, promote and strengthen women's health through various efforts in society and by spreading information about violence in close relationships and about women's vulnerability.

Their core issue is housing, which started it all. Housing is a major problem for women on their way back to a normal life after an abusive relationship. In this work, Her House Foundation works with property owners around Sweden to make it easier to find housing for women who need a place to live after their time in sheltered housing. The cooperation means that the property owners prioritise the women in the housing queues for rental apartments. In other words, the Her House Foundation acts as an intermediary between the property owner and the tenant.

Together with HerHouse, IDUN Minerals are helping share facts and knowledge to get a better understanding for this important topic.

WE SUPPORT

UNIZON

Unizon is the national association for over 130 idea-driven women's shelters, girls' shelters and youth shelters that work for an equal society free from violence.

We are supporting Unizon and their work by educating our team in the topic, donating to the cause and spreading important information about men's violence towards women.

All of the association's advocacy work is based on women's and children's experiences of men's violence. By being a common voice for emergency workers, Unizon influences politics, authorities and other actors to take responsibility. Unizon also offers member training and help to ensure quality and develop the on-call operations.

Unizon's vision is an equal society free from violence.

SWEDISH ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE

IVL

During the fall of 2021 we participated in a life cycle analysis research project together with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Perrigo and Apotek HjÀrtat. The aim was to create a result that evaluates the climate impact of different parts of the product value chains and then highlight where in the life cycle the greatest climate impact occurs. The result provided us with a wider perspective and valuable insights to promote a more sustainable supply chain and end products to the customer, for us as a brand and for the industry as a whole. You can read the report here.
